The media buying process shifts into high gear for agencies with a new link between Entertainment Communications Network, Inc. (ECN) and STRATA, the leader in media buying software. ECN and STRATA, jointly announced today that ECN’s media services for advertising agencies throughout North America are now directly available through STRATA’s media buying software.
STRATA agencies can use ECN’s services to guarantee delivery of commercial information to targeted media contacts. This connection allows agencies to deliver traffic on time and to the right person while receiving confirmation electronically.
“Media buying agencies can now take advantage of ECN’s extensive database of media contacts and guaranteed delivery system of commercial information directly from their STRATA software,” said Angela Tietze, ECN’s President, “and, with its direct XML connection via STRATA, ECN can distribute information faster and more efficiently to the broadcast community.”
ECN maintains a proprietary media database of more than 120,000 names and addresses, tracking personnel at radio and TV stations, cable networks and cable systems.
“STRATA’s new connection to ECN gives clients immediate access to targeted media for delivery of broadcast traffic,” said John Shelton, STRATA President/CEO. “In the end, this will add tremendous efficiency and precision to the media buyer’s process. STRATA’s media buying agencies can also take advantage of other ECN services. Through its E*Confirmation compliance service, ECN obtains written verification that each station on the buy has received, understood and complied with critical revisions and destroy orders received through STRATA.
